The basic situation
UK Eel Minutes is free to use and free to read. To fund the site, we participate in affiliate programmes run by the gambling operators we review. When you visit an operator through a link on this site and create an account, we may receive a commission payment from that operator.
What it means for our links
The links to operators on this site include tracking parameters (strings like ?btag=... or &clickid=...). These tell the operator's affiliate system that you arrived via UK Eel Minutes. The destination is always the legitimate operator website — the tracking parameter does not redirect through any third party.
There is no cost to you from using these links. The commission we earn comes from the operator's marketing budget, not from any charge to the player.
What it doesn't mean
Affiliate relationships do not determine which operators appear on the site, how they are ranked, or what grade they receive. Operators are selected based on UKGC licensing, market presence and relevance to UK players. The grades and comparisons reflect our honest editorial assessment of each operator's product — primarily their mobile and app experience.
We do not accept payment for higher rankings, positive editorial coverage, or favourable language about a specific operator.
UK advertising standards
UK Eel Minutes complies with the UK Committee of Advertising Practice (CAP) Code and ASA guidance on affiliate marketing. All affiliate links are labelled as such (marked "Ad" in the operator cards) in accordance with ASA transparency requirements. Responsible gambling messages are present throughout the site.
